"Orla Kiely presented her new Autumn/Winter 2011/12 collection at the Portico Rooms at Somerset House at the beginning of this seasons London Fashion Week.
Upon entering the room you are transported into a forest esque surrounding. Stark trees, strippped off leaves are placed around the room, complete with log cabins to finish the look and theme of the presentation of the collection. Within the log cabins are screens showing the new fashion film by the designer."
The film was directed Mercedes Helwein and showcases the collection in a beautiful yet dark film, complete with elements of calm. The main inspiration for the collection comes from the Alfred Hitchcock film ‘The Birds’.
